Nymphea ‘Ultra Violet’, commonly called Ultra Violet is a beautiful annual waterlily that will quickly become a focal point in your pond! Ultra Violet is adorned with maroon lily pads with slight splashes of lighter red. In the summer it produces beautiful deep purple blooms! The deep purple is the darkest purple on the market! Ultra Violet has around 70 petals which gives it the unique fullness that it has. This waterlily is a heavy bloomer, producing 3-5 blooms per day if given the correct conditions! Ultra Violet is an award winning plant, it won the Best New Waterlily Hybrid Overall in 2008 by the International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society! This waterlily is hardy in zones 9-11 and performs best in full sun. This unique and beautiful waterlily will be the perfect addition to your pond!
