POND FISH DON’T SNACK ON ME! While edible and safe for aquatic wildlife, lemon bacopa foliage has a strong flavor and therefore fish tend to avoid it. If your fish have a serious case of the munchies for your pond greenery, this is the plant for you.

POND PLANT BIO:
It’s a dainty-flowered pond treasure! Bright periwinkle-blue flowers adorn the lemon-scented foliage of the lemon bacopa. It will thrive in a wide range of growing conditions, from moist soil as a bog plant, or in water as a floating or submerged plant. This makes it a top plant choice for wetland remediation projects. Native to the southern and southeastern United States, the Seminole Indians of Florida used lemon bacopa to treat a variety of ailments including coughs, colds, and sleeplessness.
Cannot be shipped to: Puerto Rico (permit + quarantine required)
NOTES FROM THE EXPERTS AT CHALILY: Our live plants are delivered as bare root plants. This means that the plant has mature, growing root structures ready to be planted. We recommend Chalily Lily and Lotus Fertilizer for all flowering aquatic plants.
