Fiber Optic Rush is adorned with bright green thread-like leaves that arch over gracefully and it flowers silver-white blooms in the summer. When this plant flowers it looks like every stem is tipped with light. Especially in sunny lighting, this plant resembles fiber optic lights, which is where it got its namesake. Fiber Optic Rush is hardy in zones 3-11 and does well in full sun to part shade. The more wet of an environment that you keep this plant in, the more light it prefers. Fiber Optic Rush has leaves that arch over, which provide a great refuge for fish and frogs. This unique and beautiful plant will make a great addition to any pond!
