The Nymphaea ‘Detective Erika’ is an aquatic perennial which performs best in loam soil in full sun. The Detective Erika was created in 2013 by the award-winning hybridizer Zijun Li. This waterlily has stunning purple blooms with a golden yellow center on top of beautiful green lily pads. This waterlily is unique in the fact that it is a cross between a hardy and tropical waterlily. This means that it has the beautiful vibrant colors and large attractive leaves of a tropical waterlily but also the cold hardiness of hardy waterlilies. It is no surprise that this waterlily won the best new waterlily in 2016! This unique and beautiful waterlily is the perfect addition to any pond!
