August Koch produces cup shaped blooms that are violet-blue and produce an incredible fragrance! This water lily blooms from summer through fall and each bloom lasts 3-4 days. The beauty doesn’t end at the blooms! August Koch has olive green lily pads with serrated edges that create the perfect backdrop. This waterlily was created in 1922 by George Pring, and was named after August Koch who was the chief florist of the Chicago Park System.
